At times like this, I like to write

to deal with all the sadness, a simple thing

I like to do to deal with all the madness

I wonder why I hurt your heart, hold

back my tears in silence. A man so damn

confused, a man full of defiance.

Today’s the day the truth will stick,

I finally see things clearly. Change

and live happy with you or fight

and pay quite dearly.

It breaks my heart to know it’s me

that causes all this sadness, a simple thing

to love you right will take away the madness.
